What makes you such an expert?

I wouldn't say that I'm an expert about Northeast Seattle, but I certainly qualify as an interested party. I grew up in Wedgwood, lived in Ravenna while attending the UW and now live with my family in the Lake City area where a branch of Thornton Creek runs through my back yard. I've never lived anywhere but Northeast Seattle. So, as you can see, I have quite a stake in the community.
