11/22/01 Two New Large Buildings Planned for Lake City On December 3, 2001, DCLU will hold early design guidance meetings regarding two proposed large mixed-use buildings in Lake City. The public is invited to attend. The two locations are 12360 Lake City Wy Northeast and 3310 Northeast 125th Street. The proposal for the first location is to replace the existing building, which currently houses Washington Mutual, Clair's Pantry and others, with a six-story mixed-use building containing 5,450 sq. ft. of commercial space and 110 residential units. Parking for 144 vehicles will be provided. The proposal for 3310 Northeast 125th Street is to build a six-story mixed-use building containing 65 residential units, ground floor commercial space. Parking for 70 vehicles will be provided in a partially below-grade garage. The early design guidance meetings regarding these two proposals will both be held December 3, 2001 in the Eckstein Middle School Cafeteria (3003 NE 75th St). 3310 Northeast 125th Street will be discussed at 6:30 pm and 12360 Lake City WY Northeast will be discussed at 8:00 pm.
