You are invited to attend "Visions Toward Tomorrow," a community
outreach event for the greater Lake City area.

The event will be held at Olympic Hills Elementary School in Lake City
on Saturday, September 18, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The goal of the event is to build community and a shared vision of the
greater Lake City community. Bring your families, kids, and friends.
Enjoy ethnic food and musical entertainment, as well as fun crafts,
activities, and storytelling. Find out who lives and works in your
community.

Hear a presentation and a panel discussion about future plans and
sustainable approaches for growth in the greater Lake City area. Learn
about groups and projects in your community and how you can start your
own organization or project. Community groups and City staff will be on
hand with information and brochures.

Peter Donaldson will be the keynote speaker, and the panel on
sustainable development will include businesses and City staff. State
Representative Phyllis Gutierrez Kenney will open the program, Seattle
City Councilmember Richard Conlin will speak, and Seattle City
Councilmember David Della will give closing remarks.

Olympic Hills Elementary School is at 13018 20th Avenue Northeast in
Lake City. There is free parking, and no charge for entry. Donations
