11/15/04 Dear Neighbor,
If you have questions about this message or any other neighborhood concerns or announcements you would like included in future messages, please email back. The Laurelhurst Community Club (LCC) board of trustees meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month at St. Stephens. All calls and concerns from neighbors and our business community are discussed. Neighbors are always welcome to attend. Jeannie Hale, LCC President =================COMMUNITY CENTER SURVEY================= After working for almost eight years to get funding to expand the community center, plans are underway to accomplish the expansion with funds from the ProParks levy. Community Survey: What are your priorities for expansion of the community
center? Please take a few minutes to complete the online survey to let
LCC and the Parks Department know your preferences and priorities. You
can access the survey at www.laurelhurstcc.com. You will also receive
a hard copy version of the survey with your monthly newsletter that you
receive in the mail. Please submit your response right away as early
responses are important in preparing the design alternatives. The Parks
Department will give "substantial weight" to the recommendations
of the project advisory team (PAT), a group of neighbors selected by
the Department to provide advice on the project, but that does not mean
that your views are not important—they are!
